Date and Schedule
- Get-Together: On the evening of 2nd June 2025 from 5 pm, an informal get-together will take place, providing an opportunity for networking in a relaxed atmosphere. A basic selection of drinks will be provided, but attendees are kindly asked to bring their own drinks and food.
- Forum: On the morning of 3rd June 2025 from 8:30 am, the third forum of the Young Scientists Network will begin. After two keynote presentations on relevant topics, participants will have the chance to present scientific works, such as bachelor’s and master’s theses or other projects, in a poster session. After the award ceremony, the forum will end at 12:00 pm.
Location
Get-together on 2 June 2025: St. Johannspark, Basel; distinctive feature is a neon-yellow cap.
Due to the rain, we will meet in the Markthalle (https://altemarkthalle.ch/), which is located near the Basel SBB train station. We will be inside the Markthalle on the 1st upper floor in the “Wohnzimmer / HausBAR”.

Travel information: The campus is best reached from the city of Basel via S-Bahn (stop: Muttenz Bahnhof + 5 min walk). The FHNW Campus Muttenz also has its own bus stop (bus stop: Muttenz, Fachhochschule). You can find the connections in the SBB online timetable (https://www.sbb.ch/de).
Registration
Please register via ConfTool: https://www.conftool.pro/dlt2025/
The registration process consists of two steps:
- First, register as a user in ConfTool.
- Then, proceed with the event registration.
You can choose either the Young Professionals Network (Forum), or Conference + Forum.
Poster Presentation and Prizes
Contributions to the poster session for the forum can be submitted via ConfTool after registration, up until 1 April 2025. The poster should be prepared in A0 portrait format and uploaded as a document (.jpg | .jpeg | .png | .pdf). Please also bring the printed poster in A0 format to the event in June.
The best poster will be awarded a free one-year membership in either DGPF, OVG, or SGPF, along with a sustainable stainless steel bottle.

Participation in the Young Network Forum is free of charge. -
Three-Country Conference
Discounted rates are available for bachelor’s and master’s students:
Early bird: 65 CHF
Regular: 90 CHF
This includes coffee breaks, lunch, and the Ice-Breaker Party on the evening of 3rd June. Late registrations are also possible.
